I wanted to paint a miniature with blue trees, this was the first project, on paper with water colour and gouache.

The peacock has been the national bird of India since 1963. It has been represented widely in temple art, miniature paintings and textiles etc. for many centuries. It symbolises grace and beauty and is considered sacred and is associated with many gods. Both paintings were sold at an exhibition in Versailles,  France.
